Privacy Policy
Walnut Hill College landing pages · Last updated October 26, 2026
This policy explains how Walnut Hill College ("Walnut Hill College," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information through the Spring Start page, the Experience Scholarship estimate page, and their thank-you pages on experience.walnuthillcollege.edu (the "Site"). It covers only this Site. For our main website, see the privacy policy posted at walnuthillcollege.edu/policies.
Information you give us
On the Spring Start page, when you fill out the information request form, we collect:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The program you're interested in
- The term you'd like to start
- The highest level of education you've completed
- Whether you agreed to receive text messages
On the Experience Scholarship estimate page, we collect:
- The track and program you choose
- How long you've worked in fine dining or luxury hospitality, and the scholarship estimate it produces
- Your first and last name, email address, and phone number
- Your most recent industry role, if you choose to share it
- The term you'd like to start
- Whether you agreed to be contacted, and the wording of that agreement
The estimate page saves your answers as you move through each step, so an advisor can see where you left off. Answers you give before you enter your contact details are linked to a random identifier, not to your name. Filling out either form is voluntary. We use your answers to respond to you and, on the estimate page, to give you an estimate and help admissions review your experience. An estimate is not a scholarship award; admissions determines any scholarship after confirming your experience.
Information collected automatically
Campaign details. If you reach the Site from an ad or a link that carries campaign details, such as the name of the ad campaign or a Google or Meta ad click identifier, we save those details with your form answers. We also save the address of the page you used, the address of the page that sent you to the Site (if your browser shares it), your browser type, and the date and time.
Cookies and similar technologies. The Site uses Google Analytics, which shows us how visitors use the Site, such as how many people visit, which pages they view, and which steps of the estimate they complete. Our Google Analytics account is linked to our Google Ads account, and Google uses cookies to tell us when a visit from one of our ads leads to a form submission. The Site also uses the Meta Pixel, which uses cookies and similar technologies to tell us when a visit from one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram leads to a page view or a form submission. We use both to measure and improve our advertising. We do not send your name, email address, or phone number to Google or Meta through these tools. Google and Meta handle the information they collect under their own privacy policies: Google's privacy policy and Meta's privacy policy.
Standard browser information. Like any website, the servers that deliver the Site receive the information your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested.
How we use your information
- To contact you about admissions and the programs you're interested in, answer your questions, and help you apply
- To give you a scholarship estimate and help admissions review your experience
- To send you text messages about admissions, but only if you agreed to receive them
- To understand which ads and pages lead people to contact us, and to improve the Site and our advertising
- To comply with the law
How we store and protect your information
Form submissions go to Walnut Hill College's admissions system so our team can follow up with you. We also keep a copy of each submission, including the step-by-step answers from the estimate page, in a secure database run by our website platform provider, so your information isn't lost if the transfer to our admissions system is interrupted.
The Site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to form submissions is limited to authorized Walnut Hill College staff and the service providers who maintain the Site. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run the Site and respond to you, including our website hosting and database provider, our admissions software provider, and our marketing agency
- With Google and Meta, for the analytics and ad measurement described above
- When the law or valid legal process requires it, or to protect the safety of our visitors or the public
Text messages
If you agree to receive text messages on either form, Walnut Hill College may send you text messages about admissions and your inquiry. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. On the Spring Start form, you don't have to check the text message box to submit the form.
